Moleskine’s Beijing City Notebook

I got a little going away gift in preparation for my Beijing departure from my good friend over at Moto and Design. Can’t wait to put it to good use! There are a variety of useful references included among the blank pages for note-taking or journal writing. I’ve always been a fan of Moleskines, and usually carry one around with me wherever I go. The compact size is quite convenient. This is the first time that I’ve had a chance to really look through and thoroughly examine a Moleskine City Notebook.

There’s a fold-out subway map and stickies to quick reference particular notebook pages, along with a separate Olympic Games Area map.

A full central-Beijing map included! Though, I imagine a bit of getting used to, while flipping through pages with small dimensions.

Also included is a page of ‘Measures and Conversions’ for us silly Americans who still use the Imperial System of measure and other already tabbed pages for easy reference and documentation. Now, the question is, where do I start first with writing my own travel guide? Anyone else use one of these before? Or what type of ‘travel guides’ do you prefer to travel with instead?
