Back in April, I was sick for a couple weeks and made myself go to the local hospital to get checked out. An interesting experience, with no one speaking English. Suffice to say, I still got prescriptions and have been happy and healthy since.

The public hospital is incredibly inexpensive: RMB$4 (US$0.06) to see a doctor.
The prescription booth. I got 3 prescriptions totally about RMB$50 (US$7)…
Though I must say the sparseness and minimalism of the hospital was in no way welcoming. And a bit scary, when first walking in, I felt like I was walking into a deserted building. Efficient and sufficient. No complaints (besides my lack of communication skills of course..haha)
